Don Chicken Launches 'Startup Support Group' to Assist with Initial Startup Costs

Don Chicken, a chicken franchise with comedian Lee Kyung-kyu serving as an outside director, has launched the 'Don Chicken Startup Support Group,' which fully supports the initial franchise startup costs for anyone passionate about starting a business.

It is said that the average preparation period for entrepreneurs in Korea is less than six months. This reflects the reality where many jump into entrepreneurship with insufficient preparation due to employment difficulties, early retirement, and inadequate retirement planning.

The number of startup platforms has also increased. Examples include Naver Smart Store, which offers easy online access, and shared kitchens where entrepreneurs can rent kitchen space for a certain period at a fixed cost, enabling them to start a business at a low cost.

However, among the many entrepreneurs who have entered the startup field, only a very small portion have succeeded in capturing customers' hearts. As mentioned earlier, this is because many start businesses without prior knowledge of their startup items.

In this regard, the Don Chicken Startup Support Group is a project focused on mutual growth, providing support for initial startup costs such as interior expenses, franchise fees, royalties, and training fees, and helping franchisees establish themselves well after opening.

For detailed inquiries about the Startup Support Group, please visit the Don Chicken website.

A Don Chicken representative stated, “The number of people starting businesses too riskily without prior knowledge has increased,” and added, “We hope many passionate entrepreneurs will participate in this project that supports startups without any financial burden.”
