People Power Party 37.7% vs Democratic Party 30.1%
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] In the first public opinion poll conducted after the unification of opposition candidates, Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party candidate for Seoul mayor, led Park Young-sun, the Democratic Party candidate, by nearly 20 percentage points.

On the 25th, Realmeter conducted a survey commissioned by OhmyNews on the 24th, the day after the unification was achieved, targeting 806 residents of Seoul aged 18 and over. The results showed that more than half of the respondents, 55.0%, supported candidate Oh. Candidate Park's support rate was 36.5%. The gap between the two candidates was 18.5 percentage points, which is outside the margin of error (±3.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level).
By age group, candidate Oh led candidate Park in all age groups except those in their 40s. Notably, the gap widened significantly among those in their 20s (ages 18-29).
Support for candidate Oh among people in their 20s reached 60.1%, while candidate Park received only 21.1%, nearly a threefold difference.

Among those in their 40s, a group with strong support for candidate Park, Oh's support rate was 34.7%, while Park's was 57.9%.
In the 50s age group, the race was close. Candidate Oh and candidate Park recorded 47.1% and 45.2%, respectively.
By region, candidate Oh led candidate Park in all areas, including the northwest area (53.1%), northeast area (49.4%), Gangseo area (56.6%), and Gangnam area (62.8%).
When asked if they would continue to support their current candidate until the election, 82.2% answered that they intended to "continue supporting," while 15.8% said there was a "possibility of change."
Party support rates were 37.7% for the People Power Party, 30.1% for the Democratic Party, 9.1% for the People Party, 5.0% for the Justice Party, and 3.7% for the Open Democratic Party.
Regarding President Moon Jae-in's performance evaluation, positive evaluations stood at 35.0%, while negative evaluations were 61.3%.
