[Asia Economy Reporter Su-yeon Woo] Korea Urban Airport Asset Management (CAAM), a specialized office lease management company located in the Trade Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul, announced on the 24th that it will expand and reopen the shared office 'City Air Space' on the 7th floor of the Urban Airport Terminal in April.
With this expansion, City Air Space will operate on a scale of 160 pyeong, about 33% larger than the existing 120 pyeong. In addition to the existing 2-, 3-, and 4-person rooms, new 1-person and 6-person rooms have been added, allowing companies of various sizes to move in.
City Air Space is located in the Trade Center on Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, a major business hub, with excellent accessibility as Samsung Station on Subway Line 2 and Bongeunsa Station on Line 9 are connected underground. It also boasts ample parking space and a quiet working environment.
Furthermore, it is situated within a complex with the best business infrastructure, including the COEX Exhibition Hall, COEX Mall, InterContinental Hotel, and Hyundai Department Store, making it highly valuable as an office platform, explained a CAAM official.
Kim Jung-soo, CEO of CAAM, said, "There is high preference among small businesses and branches of large corporations that want to use offices at reasonable costs within the well-established infrastructure of the Trade Center. Since its opening in April 2019, the occupancy rate has consistently exceeded 95%, maintaining high popularity. As inquiries for occupancy continued despite almost no vacancies, we decided to expand the space in response to industry demand."
