EXT, Changes Company Name to KHCNT... Declares a New Leap Forward

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] EXT, a company listed on KOSDAQ, has changed its name to KH E&T and declared a new leap forward. The business scope will also expand beyond the foundation and ground sectors to comprehensive construction and renewable energy businesses.

On the 24th, EXT held its regular shareholders' meeting and resolved agenda items including the name change, partial amendment of the articles of incorporation, and appointment of auditors. This is a measure for a new leap forward, expanding from a leading company in the foundation and ground sectors to comprehensive construction and business expansion.

Founded in 2004, EXT has grown into a leading company in the foundation and ground sectors. It developed the tip-expansion type EXT piles mainly used at new building sites, the 'SAP (Screw Anchor Pile) method' for seismic design, reinforcement, and remodeling, and the 'PF (Point Foundation) method' for ground improvement of low-rise buildings under five floors and parking lots.

EXT has created high added value in the foundation and ground sectors through continuous technological development and thorough and strict construction. Its domestic and international intellectual property rights, including patents, designs, and trademarks, amount to about 200. Based on the expertise and reliability built over a long period, EXT has been growing into a comprehensive construction company by winning comprehensive construction projects since 2019.

Kang Jeong-sik, CEO of EXT, explained, "The existing company name was derived from the construction method name," adding, "It had a strong image as a specialized construction company limited to the foundation and ground sectors." He continued, "We added renewable energy business to our business objectives," and "We decided to change the company name to enter the new business."
