The domestic premium billiards brand ‘Jakdang’ announced its entry into the third store following the successful opening and operation of its first store in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, last July, and the second store currently being prepared for opening next month.
Jakdang Vietnam’s third store will be owned by a Korean woman residing locally and is planned to be a pocket billiards-exclusive venue, which is very popular in Vietnam. According to Jakdang, she decided to start the business herself, confident of success after observing the preparation process of the second store scheduled to open in April, following the successful operation of the first store.
Vietnam has about 8,000 billiard halls thriving, making it the leading emerging billiards powerhouse in Southeast Asia after Korea. Jakdang plans to expand its business through localization in the Vietnamese market.
In this regard, Jakdang CEO Lee Tae-ho expressed confidence, saying, “We are carefully analyzing and preparing the local billiards market and related consumption to create stores that more people can enjoy. We will dominate the Vietnamese billiards startup market with products and facilities preferred by local customers.”
Additionally, by actively leveraging the favorable attitude toward Korean billiards products and culture, Jakdang announced that it will establish itself as a Korean premium billiards brand composed of domestic billiards products.
