Soldier Found Dead in Seoul Hotel During Vacation

According to the Jungbu Police Station in Seoul on the 22nd, Army Corporal A was found dead in a hotel room in Jung-gu the previous afternoon. When the hotel staff noticed that Corporal A did not come out even after the check-out time, they opened the door and found him dead, then reported it.

When the police arrived at the scene after receiving the report, Corporal A was already deceased, and the cause of death was presumed to be asphyxiation. A suicide note was found at the scene.

The police handed over the case to the Capital Defense Command.
