[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kakao Commerce is conducting an open recruitment for new and experienced developers.
On the 22nd, Kakao Commerce announced that it is recruiting developers in a total of 11 areas, including frontend and backend development for Kakao Makers, backend development for Gift, Shopping, and Kakao Shopping Live, settlement platform server development, large-scale processing and SRE engineers, data analysis engineers, and machine learning engineers.
For Kakao Makers, the plan is to hire new developers, while other services will recruit experienced developers.
Applications for the open recruitment can be submitted through the Kakao Commerce open recruitment website from today until 5 PM on April 2. Coding and assignment tests may be conducted, and final candidates will be selected through first and second round interviews.
Kakao Commerce will grant stock options worth approximately 100 million KRW to successful candidates joining through this recruitment. Experienced developers will receive an additional bonus of 5 million KRW.
Kakao Commerce provides welfare benefits such as a one-month sabbatical leave and vacation allowance every three years upon joining. In addition, it is making efforts to create a flexible work environment by abolishing the comprehensive wage system and introducing a 'fully selective working hours system' that allows employees to adjust their work schedules independently without approval from their supervisors.
A Kakao Commerce official stated, "We ask for many applications from developers who want to experience large-scale traffic and develop services at Kakao Commerce, which is used by 37 million members and continues to show high growth."
