Collaboration Between Two Companies... Plans to Expand Nationwide Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Interior specialist Hanssem is expanding its distribution network nationwide by partnering with Lotte Department Store.
Hanssem announced on the 21st that it will sequentially open 'Hanssem Rehouse Lotte Department Store Bucheon Jungdong Branch' on the 25th and 'Hanssem Design Park Lotte Department Store Ulsan Branch' on the 26th. Hanssem and Lotte Department Store plan to expand stores nationwide, including the metropolitan area, Busan·Gyeongnam, and Honam, starting with Bucheon and Ulsan branches this year.
The two companies stated, "With the growing interest in home decoration, the living sector is emerging as a new 'killer content' in the distribution industry," adding, "Department stores are also expanding living content as a strategic product group and collaborating accordingly."
Hanssem Rehouse Lotte Department Store Bucheon Jungdong Branch is located on the 5th floor of Lotte Department Store Jungdong Branch in Jungdong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and is set up as a remodeling specialty exhibition hall with an area of 1,256㎡ (380 pyeong).
Inside the store, three model house styles of Hanssem's remodeling product 'Rehouse Style Package'?'Modern Brown,' 'Modern White3,' and 'Modern Cream&Black'?are showcased.
Visitors can directly experience living spaces such as the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and master bedroom with the latest interior designs in model houses that resemble actual apartments.
On the basement first floor of Lotte Department Store Ulsan Branch, Hanssem Design Park, covering 3,471㎡ (1,050 pyeong), will open, where customers can find everything needed for home interior, including Hanssem's daily necessities, furniture, and remodeling products.
This place is designed as an experiential total home interior store incorporating digital services. Customers can experience a VR zone that virtually recreates an apartment remodeled with Hanssem's furniture and remodeling packages.
Kim Jong-hoon, Director of Hanssem Integrated Marketing Team, said, "With the increased interest in home decoration, customers want to encounter Hanssem's interior solutions through various distribution channels," adding, "We plan to expand customer touchpoints nationwide through department stores, complex shopping malls, large marts, and home appliance specialty stores."
