[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Recently, a photo of a luxury car covered with drawings scratched by a sharp object has been circulating widely online.
On the 18th (local time), Vietnamese local media 'Soha' shared the story of a family along with photos of a Mercedes-Benz S400 that has become a hot topic in online communities.
The S400 in the photo was covered with graffiti from the front to the back of the vehicle. However, the markings covering the car were not made with chalk or markers that could be erased, but were scratched with a sharp object like an awl.
The media reported, "These drawings were made by the young daughter on her father's car," adding, "Restoring the original appearance will require a considerable cost."
However, instead of getting angry or upset, the child's father was apparently proud of his daughter's drawings and drove the 'graffitied S400' for a while. It was only after quite some time that he finally took the car to a repair shop.
Netizens who saw the photos and story of the vehicle responded with various comments such as, "You can't blame the child's innocence," "Isn't this a special edition S400? If it were me, I'd just leave it as is," and "The father must be a great person for not getting angry."
Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz S400 is a luxury vehicle valued at around 150 million KRW.
