On the 19th, foreign media including The Sun reported the story of a 40-year-old adoptee who found his biological father and suddenly became an heir worth 300 billion won.

According to the report, Simon Edwards (40), who worked as a temporary employee at a soccer club, found his biological father out of curiosity while searching for his roots. His biological father is Bob Sheridan (76), a legendary American boxing commentator who narrated fights such as Muhammad Ali vs. George Foreman in 1974 and is inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

Sheridan is a popular boxing commentator who has narrated over 10,000 matches, including 100 heavyweight title matches, and is also a wealthy individual owning a Las Vegas hotel worth approximately 145 million pounds. His fortune is estimated at 200 million pounds (about 315.3 billion KRW).

After confirming paternity, Sheridan told The Sun in an interview, "The moment I saw Simon, I knew at a glance that he was my child," explaining, "He resembles me in appearance and even in the way he speaks." He added, "(Finding my son) is truly a blessing, and I want to meet him as soon as possible. I will also introduce him to my brothers in Boston."

Meanwhile, Simon, revealed as Sheridan's biological son, said, "I have always dreamed of reuniting with my long-lost father," and shared his feelings, "As a boxing fan, I knew exactly who he was, so (the fact that he is my biological father) was quite a shock."

He continued, "I am really happy to have met him. Others might find it surprising that this famous person is my father, but for me, just knowing who my father is and being in contact with him is amazing."

Unfortunately, Simon's biological mother passed away five years after giving him up for adoption. Simon was adopted by Mike and his wife Edwards, a British aerospace scientist couple, through the Catholic Children's Society, and he maintains a harmonious relationship with them, still considering them his 'real parents.'

After finding his biological father, Simon has been called "Colonel Junior," following Sheridan's nickname "The Colonel." Since Sheridan had no other children with his late ex-wife, Simon is expected to inherit Sheridan's entire estate.
