Publication of 'Gangnam Youth WE UP' Containing Gangnam-gu Youth Policies and Lifestyle Information

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) published a promotional booklet titled ‘Gangnam Youth WE UP - Youth Has No Downward Slope’ on the 11th, containing youth policies and living information, and is distributing it to young people moving into the area.

‘Gangnam Youth WE UP’ is a comprehensive summary of youth policy information currently being implemented or planned by the district, created to allow young people struggling due to the impact of COVID-19 to easily find the information they need.

The booklet is composed of six chapters: ▲Job policies ▲Marriage and childcare policies ▲Housing and economic policies ▲Culture and welfare policies ▲Gangnam living information ▲Other information.

It has been placed in all 22 community service centers, and the online version is available on the Gangnam-gu website and the ‘The Gangnam’ app.

Meanwhile, Gangnam-gu is also making efforts to strengthen employment capabilities in the post-COVID-19 era by hosting various support events, such as an online ‘Mock Interview and Interview Special Lecture’ for young people on the 17th and 18th of last month.

Kim Mi-wook, Head of the Job Policy Division, said, “This booklet was created to provide information that can help young people achieve independence and social participation,” adding, “We will continue to lead the creation of ‘a city where youth want to live, Gangnam’ through tailored policy development.”
