Psychiatrist Moon Yohan: "Find Your Own Otium After Fifty"

Seodaemun 50 Plus Center Hosts 'Sai Special Lectures' Connecting Books and People... Online Talks by Authors of Recently Published Popular Books Including Park Chan-il, Shin Gye-sook, Moon Yo-han, and Park Woo-ran

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun 50 Plus Center announced on the 15th that it will hold the ‘2021 First Half Online Special Lectures Connecting Books and People’ with four authors of recently published popular books: Park Chan-il, Shin Gye-sook, Moon Yo-han, and Park Woo-ran.

First, on March 31, chef Park Chan-il, author of What I Learned from a Hundred-Year-Old Restaurant, will give a lecture titled ‘The Power of Old Shops That Teach Life.’ On April 30, Professor Shin Gye-sook of Baewha Women’s University, author of Life That Just Does It, will lecture under the title ‘Gyesuk Restaurant, Cooking Life.’

On May 27, psychiatrist Moon Yo-han, author of Otium, My Own Rest That Gives the Strength to Live, will present ‘After Fifty, Find Your Own Otium.’ On June 30, counseling psychology expert Park Woo-ran, author of Daughters Grow Up Eating Their Mothers’ Emotions, will lecture under the title ‘How to Live as Myself Beyond Parents.’

The special lectures will be held live from 2 p.m. on the respective days via the Seodaemun 50 Plus Center YouTube channel. Up to 200 people per lecture can register in advance for free through the center’s website on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registered participants will receive an online access link via text message on their mobile phones before the lecture begins.

Located on the 2nd floor of Gongyu Campus, 484 Tongil-ro, Seodaemun-gu, the ‘Seodaemun 50 Plus Center’ actively carries out various educational and support projects to promote awareness change, life planning, and new job searching for the 50 Plus generation.
