'Stressless Cinema' Opens at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall
Ace Bed Imported and Distributed Norwegian Recliner Seats
Additional Opening at Busan Centum City in Q2... "Healing for Body and Mind"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Ace Bed and CGV have collaborated to open the first screening room where viewers can comfortably watch movies in recliners.
Ace Bed announced on the 15th that it has opened the 'Stressless Cinema' in collaboration with Stressless, a recliner brand exclusively imported and distributed by the company, and CGV's premium movie theater Cine de Chef.
Stressless is a recliner brand developed in 1971 by Ekornes, Norway's largest furniture company. It is 100% produced locally in Norway, blending Nordic sensibility into its design and functionality, and offers comfort through ergonomic design.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stressless, Ace Bed planned this screening room with CGV so that audiences can experience comfortable relaxation.
The two companies first opened Stressless Cinema at Cine de Chef Yongsan I'Park Mall. They plan to open an additional location at Cine de Chef Centum City in Busan within the second quarter of this year.
All seats in the screening room are equipped with Stressless recliners to help viewers watch movies in a comfortable posture. The highest level Meyer Sound System, applied in Carnegie Hall and the Opera House, is also installed. Viewers will be specially provided with a Stressless Cinema exclusive welcome package (chocolate scone, herbal tea, package box).
An Ace Bed official said, "The concept of Cine de Chef, CGV's premium screening room cultural platform, aligns well with the concept of Stressless, leading to this brand collaboration," adding, "We hope this will be an opportunity for people to heal their tired bodies and minds by directly experiencing the luxury recliner Stressless along with the emotions of the movie."
