Young Visual Designer Kim Hyerin, Studio Hangeul, Yuhan Sol, Jo Junghyun, Paika Exhibiting Unique and Imaginative Works
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) is holding the "Hwalja, Hwaljjak" special exhibition at Sinchon Culture Development Center (57 Yonsei-ro 2na-gil) until May 30.
The district has displayed graphic design works such as typography and illustrations with the theme of hope in the indoor space of the Culture Development Center to support citizens amid social distancing.
Typography refers to the composition and expression of typefaces or the arrangement of letters.
In this exhibition, visitors can enjoy the unique and imaginative works of young visual designers Kim Hye-rin, Studio Hangeul, Yoo Han-sol, Cho Jung-hyun, and Paika.
The works use onomatopoeia and mimetic words to express the joys of daily life and convey a message of peace and happiness, offering hope to overcome the COVID-19 era.
During the exhibition period, anyone can visit for free from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., except on Mondays and public holidays.
In particular, the district has arranged the exhibition space as a "Walking Through Gallery," allowing people to appreciate the artworks installed inside through the glass exterior wall from outside the building.
Additionally, the exhibition is operated in strict accordance with quarantine guidelines, including electronic entry log registration, mask-wearing verification, and regular disinfection.
Since its opening in June 2018, Sinchon Culture Development Center has established itself as a complex cultural space supporting various planning, creation, and presentations by young cultural artists.
