Among the new cases, 6 were imported from overseas, and the rest were domestic infections. New cases also emerged from major cluster infections. These include 3 cases at a nursing hospital in Dongdaemun-gu, 2 cases at a hospital in Dongdaemun-gu, 1 case at a restaurant in Yeongdeungpo-gu, 1 case at a high school in Gangdong-gu, and 1 case at a nursing hospital in Songpa-gu. An additional 8 cases were linked to other cluster infections. There were 50 cases from contact with other confirmed patients, and 27 cases with unknown infection routes.
As of 6:00 PM on that day, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Seoul was 29,388.
