Mokpo Hanguk Hospital Administers AstraZeneca Vaccine to Healthcare Workers

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] Mokpo Hanguk Hospital announced on the 9th that it will conduct COVID-19 vaccination from the 8th to the 12th at the Mokpo Hanguk Hospital injection room, following the vaccination recommendations implemented by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters.

The target for this COVID-19 vaccination is healthcare workers, and the vaccine type is AstraZeneca (AZ).

To manage any possible adverse reactions after vaccination, a 30-minute observation period after vaccination and then going home will be conducted. The expected number of vaccinations on the first day is about 200 people.

In particular, to dispel concerns about vaccine side effects among staff, Director Park In-ho of Mokpo Hanguk Hospital took the lead by receiving the vaccine himself.

Director Park In-ho said, “There have been no particular discomforts so far after the vaccination,” adding, “Through this vaccination, I hope the staff can work in a safe environment, and patients will also be able to receive treatment safely from infection.”
