Yeosu City Announces Imminent Launch of 'Public Delivery App' to Support Small Businesses and Local Economy

Promoting Delivery App Activation with Low Brokerage Fees and 6-10% Discount on Yeosu Sarang Gift Certificates

Yeosu City Announces Imminent Launch of 'Public Delivery App' to Support Small Businesses and Local Economy

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu City (Mayor Kwon Oh-bong) announced on the 9th that the public delivery app ‘SsingSsing Yeosu,’ developed to reduce the order delivery fee burden for local small business owners, is set for full launch later this month.

‘SsingSsing Yeosu’ offers an order fee of 2% of the order amount, which is cheaper compared to other private delivery apps, attracting interest and expectations with 370 affiliated stores registered so far.

Affiliated stores receive a 3,000 KRW discount event on their first order (up to 300,000 KRW per store) supported by the city.

In particular, payments can be made using Yeosu Love Gift Certificates in paper or card form, which are sold at a 6?10% discount to revitalize the local economy, and there are no additional incidental costs such as affiliation fees or advertising fees.

To increase citizen usage of the public delivery app, 0.1% of the 2% order fee will be used for promotions to attract customers, and various events are being planned.

Store recruitment is open at all times, and marketers from Manna Planet Co., Ltd. will continuously provide guidance to small business owners via phone calls or visits.

For inquiries or affiliation applications, contact the Manna Planet Co., Ltd. call center.

To place an order, search for ‘SsingSsing Yeosu’ in the smartphone Play Store, download the app, then proceed with address setting, store and menu selection, and order payment.

Mayor Kwon Oh-bong of Yeosu said, “To activate the operation of the public delivery app, securing many affiliated stores and citizen usage are essential. The order fee burden is low for small business owners, and users can order at discounted prices using Yeosu gift certificates, so I hope all citizens will participate in using Yeosu City’s excellent public delivery app.”

Meanwhile, Yeosu City signed an agreement with Manna Planet Co., Ltd. last November to develop a public delivery app to curb the monopoly and fee increases of private delivery apps and reduce order fees for local small business owners.
