Up to 10% Payment Date Discount with Automatic Utility Bill Payment

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Card announced on the 9th that it has launched the renewed 'Digital Plaza Benefit (BENEFIT) Samsung Card,' which offers enhanced benefits related to Samsung Digital Plaza and discounts for automatic payment of utility bills.

This card allows the use of 24-month or 36-month light installment plans at Samsung Digital Plaza. When using the light installment plan, a payment day discount of up to 20,000 KRW per month is provided based on the previous month's usage amount, and up to 5,000 KRW discount is applied to the monthly automatic payment amount for Samsung Care Plus.

Additionally, if utility bills such as apartment management fees, telecommunications, city gas, electricity, rentals, and the four major social insurances are paid automatically with this card, a payment day discount of up to 10% is offered. When using the light installment plan, a 5% discount on automatic utility bill payments can be received up to 8,000 KRW per month, and if the light installment plan is fully paid off or not used, a 10% discount on automatic utility bill payments can be received up to 18,000 KRW per month.

Up to a 6% payment day discount is also provided at gas stations and online shopping malls. When using the light installment plan, a 3% discount at gas stations and online shopping malls can be received up to 8,000 KRW per month, and if the light installment plan is fully paid off or not used, a 6% discount at gas stations and online shopping malls can be received up to 18,000 KRW per month.

Furthermore, the Digital Plaza Benefit Samsung Card offers a 3% payment day discount on Samsung.com up to 30,000 KRW annually. The annual fee is 20,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international (Master) cards.

Meanwhile, Samsung Card is conducting a 'Plus Pay' event at Samsung Digital Plaza for all Samsung Card members until the 31st. Depending on the purchase amount, up to 600,000 Samsung Electronics S Points and up to a 2% payment day discount are provided.
