"Career-Interrupted Women, Challenge Yourself as a Tax Accounting Clerk"

An educational program to train tax accounting clerks for women with career interruptions is being operated. The Seoul Western Women's Development Center announced on the 9th that it is recruiting trainees to run the tax accounting clerk training course.


The program targets women aged 19 or older who are determined to find employment after a career break. Those who can use computers, have majored in related fields, or have relevant experience are given preference. After completing the training, priority employment support will be provided for positions related to tax accounting clerical work.


The tax accounting clerk training course operated by the Seoul Western Women's Development Center is a company-tailored practical training conducted in cooperation with the Korea Tax Association. It is employment-linked vocational education that trains professional clerks in tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative office fields.


The detailed curriculum includes accounting theory and principles, accounting education preparing for the Level 1 Computerized Accounting Certificate and Level 2 Tax Certificate, ITQ Hangul or Hangul Excel certificate preparation information technology education, as well as job preparation training such as resume and self-introduction letter clinics, image making, and interview clinics. The training period is from Thursday, April 8, 2021, to Monday, July 6, 2021, with classes held Monday through Friday from 14:00 to 18:00, totaling 248 hours of education.


To this end, the Seoul Western Women's Development Center is accepting applications for trainees from Thursday, March 4, to Tuesday, March 30. After the first document screening and the second interview, the final successful candidates will be announced. The tuition fee is 100,000 KRW, with 50,000 KRW refunded upon completion and another 50,000 KRW refunded upon employment. Trainees will receive support for textbook costs and certification exam fees, and the program is linked with a women's internship system and priority employment.
