[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 9th that it has newly launched its own simple payment service, T'way Pay.
T'way Air first introduced the dedicated simple payment system T'way Pay in October 2019 to enhance customer convenience, and this time it has been revamped through a partnership with SmilePay.
While the previous T'way Pay required users to register new payment methods, with this revamp, customers registered with SmilePay operated by eBay Korea can use all their registered payment methods without entering additional information.
When purchasing airline tickets using T'way Pay, 0.3% Smile Cash is accumulated, and previously accumulated Smile Cash can also be used for payment.
To commemorate the revamp, T'way Air plans to hold an event from the 22nd of this month for one month, issuing a 10,000 KRW exclusive discount coupon for payments over 70,000 KRW. T'way Air and SmilePay will continue to provide various benefits to increase customer usage of the convenient T'way Pay.
Additionally, T'way Air offers various simple payment systems such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Toss, Payco, PayPal, and UnionPay to provide payment convenience to customers.
A T'way Air official stated, “With the increasing trend of simple payments, partnering with SmilePay allows us to provide faster and more convenient payment services,” and added, “We will continue to seek various ways to expand customer convenience.”
