[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Hanssem announced on the 9th that it has introduced the '3D Real Viewer' service, which helps customers make purchasing decisions with 3D product information, on its online shopping mall Hanssem Mall.
With this service, customers can closely examine furniture rendered in high-quality 3D by rotating it 360℃ up, down, left, and right, and changing colors. In the case of sofas, the level of detail is so high that even leather wrinkles and stitching lines can be checked. In addition to existing photo and video content, home interior shopping using 3D product information has become possible.
Moreover, customers can take photos of the living room, bedroom, or other spaces where they plan to install the product and virtually place the 3D-rendered furniture. This allows them to preview how the interior style, such as flooring and wallpaper, or existing furniture will match, reducing trial and error in home decoration.
Hanssem currently provides the 3D Real Viewer service for 20 types of sofas and plans to expand the categories to include dining tables, studies, beds, wardrobes, and more by the first half of this year. They also plan to establish a dedicated studio for 3D scanning of furniture.
Kim Kyung-mook, Director of the Online Commerce Department at Hanssem's Online Business Headquarters, said, "Such high-quality 3D services are currently limited to high-involvement industries like automobiles and construction in Korea, but Hanssem has proactively introduced this service in the home interior industry. We will continue to introduce services based on online and digital technologies."
Meanwhile, Hanssem continues various efforts for customer convenience. In the second half of last year, they launched the 'Naemam Delivery' service, which allows customers to select furniture delivery and installation dates from a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 30 days. Last month, they also launched their own live commerce channel, 'SaemLIVE.'
