The National Health Insurance Service Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters (Head Jang Su-mok) and the NHIS Labor Union Busan Regional Headquarters Branch (Branch Chief Park Jae-hong) announced that on the 8th at 3 p.m., they visited Busan Buk-gu Office (Mayor Jeong Myeong-hee) to donate feminine hygiene products for adolescent girls.
The sponsored items were voluntarily prepared by the labor union and management, enough for 104 low-income adolescent girls in Buk-gu, Busan to have a "worry-free year."
The NHIS and Busan Buk-gu Office promised to continue their cooperation and support for the health and safety of the local community, starting with the donation ceremony on that day.
Last year, the NHIS Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, together with the labor union, contributed quarantine supplies to overcome COVID-19 and worked hard to restore flood damage sites, carrying out joint labor-management social contribution activities.
Head Jang Su-mok said, "I am grateful to the labor union and employees who actively participated in the sponsorship in celebration of International Women's Day on March 8," and added, "The Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters will continue to support so that adolescents can grow up happily."
