[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Tomorrow, most regions nationwide are expected to experience mild spring weather with temperatures rising above 10 degrees Celsius.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that daytime temperatures on the 9th will be similar to or slightly higher than today, rising above 10 degrees Celsius in most areas nationwide, and above 15 degrees Celsius in the southern regions.
However, morning temperatures will remain around 0 degrees Celsius, with the northern and eastern parts of Gyeonggi Province, Yeongseo region of Gangwon Province, inland Chungcheong region, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk expected to experience subzero temperatures.
Morning low temperatures by region are expected to range from -4 to 6 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 10 to 16 degrees Celsius.
With the ground surface remaining moist and temperatures dropping overnight, water vapor will condense, causing dense fog with visibility below 200 meters from tonight through tomorrow morning in southern Gyeonggi, Chungnam region, and inland Jeonbuk.
Additionally, other central regions (excluding the eastern coast of Gangwon), inland Jeonnam, inland Gyeongbuk, and western inland Gyeongnam may also experience fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer.
Furthermore, on roads and bridges adjacent to the West Sea, such as the Seohae Bridge, visibility may drop below 200 meters, so drivers are advised to maintain sufficient distance between vehicles and reduce speed.
Due to the influence of high pressure causing stagnant air, haze (a phenomenon where fine particles such as smoke and dust float in the air, causing a hazy appearance when humidity is relatively low) is also expected to be widespread on the 9th and 10th.
