Yeosu-si Recruiting Management Entities for 'Small but Strong Farmers Management Improvement Practical Training' Participation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu City (Mayor Kwon Oh-bong) announced on the 8th that it will foster small but strong farmers through the ‘Small-Scale Farmer Management Improvement Practical Training’.

The city is recruiting agricultural management entities to participate in this year’s Small-Scale Farmer Management Improvement Practical Training, aimed at nurturing small but strong farmers, until the 30th of next month.

This year’s curriculum consists of two courses: ‘Business Model Improvement,’ which helps small-scale agricultural management entities concretize their business models and develop prototypes, and ‘Online Farmer’s Market,’ which offers experience in online product promotion, sales, and new distribution channels.

The training will select 25 trainees per course and is planned to be conducted over four months from June to September.

Applications for the training can be submitted by visiting or emailing the Future Agriculture Division at the Agricultural Technology Center with the application form and related documents by the 30th of next month.

A city official stated, “We plan to provide various opportunities tailored to farmers’ circumstances, including theoretical and practical training, field visits to excellent farms, and support for participation in the Small-Scale Farmer Expo,” adding, “We will continue to promote projects to realize small but strong agriculture and strengthen capabilities, doing our best to foster and promote small-scale farmers.”

For detailed information on each course, please refer to the Yeosu City website or the Yeosu Agricultural Technology Center website, or contact the Future Agriculture Division.
