[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Department Store announced on the 8th that it will open a men's designer select shop, 'D’CREWZ,' on the 4th floor of the Pyeongchon branch on the 9th. At the same time, it will launch a brand-exclusive section on Lotte ON's Lotte Department Store Mall to attract male MZ customers.
D’CREWZ is a brand name combining the letter D, meaning designer, and 'crew,' a group with the same purpose. It is a men's select shop launched by Lotte Department Store's PB Operations Team based on their know-how of directly purchasing and curating various domestic and international brands.
The offline D’CREWZ select shop will operate more than 30 brands, including well-known domestic and international men's brands such as Engineered Garments, Needles, Eastlogue, and Unaffected, as well as emerging designer brands rising recently through SNS and communities.
To celebrate the launch of D’CREWZ, both online and offline events have been prepared. On Lotte ON's Lotte Department Store Mall, a live broadcast will be held on the 11th to introduce the store and offer surprise discount products during the live broadcast. Offline events will provide a custom service from the 12th to the 14th, printing artists' works, graphics, and symbols when purchasing products or visiting with personal items from the tenant brands.
A Lotte Department Store official said, “Utilizing the buying network and operational know-how accumulated through operating offline select shops in department stores, we will introduce designer men's brands that mainly operate in online markets to department stores for the first time and develop a solid online and offline platform that clearly reflects the needs of male MZ customers.”
