[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] A post from 2019, in which a netizen advised former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk with the words "Don't live your life like that," is once again gaining attention online. The netizen who wrote the post indirectly criticized opposition figures while praising Cho Kuk, advising him to "learn pettiness and cowardice."

Recently, a post titled "Cho Kuk, Please Don't Live Your Life Like That" has been rapidly spreading on online communities.

The post was originally published in 2019 by a writer identified as A, who began by saying, "Though I am uneducated and have little, Cho Kuk, I want to leave you a piece of advice," and continued, "Don't live your life like that."

A addressed Cho Kuk, saying, "Born into a wealthy family and with an outstanding intellect, you perhaps went to Seoul National University without any hardship, became the youngest professor, studied abroad, and at one time were a professor at Seoul National University, considered the best in Korea. Perhaps you know less about life and the world than I do," and advised, "You shouldn't live your life like that."

A referred to Cho Kuk as a 'baekseomsaeng' (a scholar who only studies books) and a 'desk-bound person,' evaluating him as "someone who, as seen on TV these days, has never doubted others in his life and only sees others with goodwill," and "a straightforward and naive person."

He then mentioned former People Power Party lawmaker Na Kyung-won and current People Power Party lawmaker Jang Je-won, sarcastically saying, "Learn the shamelessness of turning a blind eye to your own child's flaws like Jang's mother while shamelessly criticizing the diligent children of others, and learn the audacity of Na, who calls her own child's special treatment slander but condemns the entire life of someone else's daughter (Cho Min) who is unaware of any wrongdoing."

He also subtly criticized former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, saying, "Learn the behavior of a traitor who pretends to be tough and resolute but stabs in the back the superior who trusted him."

A said, "Now, whether by choice or not, you have become an independence activist of the 21st century," and claimed, "While our old independence activists and their families were unfortunate, the independence activists of the 21st century should live proudly, be respected, and live lavishly."

He added, "Please learn shamelessness, cruelty, pettiness, meanness, and cowardice," and said, "When dealing with inhuman opponents, you must choose methods that match them; the noble ways you have lived by so far will not solve anything."

Finally, A wrote, "Now your life has become no longer solely your own," and "I advise you not to live your life like that and to become like your despicable enemies, but I am grateful that you have lived your life as you have."
