Two Employees at Entertainment Venues (Impact, Opening) in Basement Floors 1 and 2 of Donggung Building, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu Confirmed Positive

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] From the afternoon of the 5th to the 6th, seven COVID-19 cases (No. 1340 to 1346) were confirmed in Gangnam-gu.

No. 1340 was infected through contact with a confirmed case from another region, and Nos. 1343 to 1345 are family members of previously confirmed Gangnam-gu residents. Nos. 1341, 1342, and 1346 tested positive after showing symptoms such as coughing, but their infection routes are unknown, and epidemiological investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile, Gangnam-gu confirmed that two employees at entertainment establishments (Impact, Opening) located in the basement floors 1 and 2 of Donggung Building (9 Teheran-ro 20-gil) in Yeoksam-dong tested positive. The establishments were immediately disinfected and closed for two weeks.

Jung Soon-gyun, the district mayor, stated, "Visitors to these establishments from February 22 to March 5 are strongly urged to get tested at the nearest temporary screening clinic or public health center."
