[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] SSG.com announced on the 7th that it will hold a 'Luxury Fair' promotion from the 8th to the 14th of this month, offering up to 70% discounts on luxury goods, duty-free items, and overseas direct purchase products for one week.

SSG.com's luxury discount promotion is held twice a year, once in the first half and once in the second half, and the event period was set for early March considering the new semester and consumer sentiment.

This event is characterized by a wide range of official store products, parallel imports, duty-free items, and overseas direct purchase products. More than 100 brands participate, from classic luxury brands such as Gucci, Burberry, Prada, Saint Laurent, and Chlo? to trendy luxury brands like Maison Margiela and Thom Browne.

Discount benefits through coupons are also provided. Two types of discount coupons are issued daily at 9 a.m. to the first 40,000 customers. A 5% discount coupon that offers up to 200,000 KRW off on purchases over 100,000 KRW, and a 7% discount coupon that offers up to 150,000 KRW off on purchases over 200,000 KRW. These coupons can be applied to luxury goods, watches, jewelry, and direct purchase category products sold on Shinsegae Mall and Shinsegae Department Store Mall.

Additional billing discounts of up to 100,000 KRW are also available when paying over 70,000 KRW with event cards from Samsung, Hyundai, KB, Citi, and others. The event cards applicable each day can be checked on the promotion page.

SSG.com has prepared a diverse selection including newly released products this year, highly discounted items, and products reflecting current trends. The Gucci official store newly introduces 42 items from the 'Ken Scott Special Collection' featuring the floral print. Online exclusives include the 'Ken Scott Print Mini Shoulder Bag,' 'Ken Scott Print Card Case Wallet,' and 'Ken Scott Print Sneakers.'

The Burberry official store offers exclusive gifts such as poker cards, dice sets, and Fulton umbrellas with purchases over a certain amount.

Representative parallel import products include the Prada Pocono bucket bag starting from around 340,000 KRW and bucket bags starting from around 1,200,000 KRW. Golden Goose and Maison Margiela sneakers are available from around 300,000 KRW. The Celine medium bucket bag is offered at 2,250,000 KRW with an 18% discount, and the Fendi Montrezo leather mini bucket bag is available at 1,770,000 KRW with a 28% discount.

In duty-free items, a special sale on luxury sunglasses is prepared. Brands including Ray-Ban are sold starting from around 60,000 KRW. Spring luxury clothing from Paul Smith, Kenzo, Ermenegildo Zegna, and others start from around 80,000 KRW, and children's shoes from Golden Goose and UGG Kids are available from around 190,000 KRW. Longchamp bags, Breitling watches, and Swarovski jewelry are also prepared.

Overseas direct purchase products include bags from Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, as well as clothing and accessories from Thom Browne, Acne Studios, Stone Island, and others sold at special prices.
