Minister Byeon Chang-heum Orders "Solve the Problem as Former LH President"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in has ordered that the investigation into allegations of speculation in the 3rd New Town development include not only the investigation targets but also Blue House secretaries, administrative officers, and their families.
A key Blue House official told reporters on the 5th, "President Moon instructed Chief Secretary Yoo Young-min to promptly conduct a comprehensive investigation into whether the families of Blue House senior secretaries, secretaries, and administrative officers were involved in land transactions related to the 3rd New Town development."
Following President Moon's directive, the Blue House has formulated an investigation plan and commenced an internal inquiry. Chief Secretary Yoo is leading the task force (TF) established for this purpose.
It was also reported that President Moon told Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Byun Chang-heum, "As a former LH president, please address this issue with extraordinary awareness and determination."
