Busan Gijang-gun Launches Sales for Southeast Radiation Medical and Science General Industrial Complex Southeast Region Radiation Medical Science General Industrial Complex Sales Information.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The sale of the Southeast Radiation Medical and Science General Industrial Complex has begun.


Gijang-gun, Busan, has announced the sale of the first phase industrial facility sites of the Southeast Radiation Medical and Science General Industrial Complex, which will become the core base of the radiation medical and science convergence industry. Applications for sale will be accepted from March 8 to March 11.


The Southeast Industrial Complex is being developed on a 1.48 million㎡ (approximately 450,000 pyeong) site in Jang-an-eup, Gijang-gun. Gijang-gun is investing 319.7 billion KRW of county funds, aiming to complete the first phase in the first half of 2021.


Major advanced national projects are underway in this complex, including the medical heavy ion accelerator, establishment of a radioactive isotope fusion research base, and a power semiconductor industry cluster.


With the fostering of related small and medium-sized enterprises, it is expected to become a mecca of the future industrial revolution, creating future food industries for the Republic of Korea.


Additionally, the Southeast Industrial Complex is adjacent to major highways such as the Busan-Pohang Expressway and the Busan Outer Ring Road, and with the opening of the Busan-Ulsan Donghae Line, it boasts an excellent transportation environment with access in all directions.


The agglomeration effect of 13 adjacent industrial complexes, along with cultural and recreational facilities such as Osiria Tourist Complex, Gijang Ceramic Tourism Healing Village, Imrang and Ilgwang Beaches, and residential environments including Jang-an Housing Development District, Jeonggwan New Town, and Ilgwang New Town, have attracted significant global attention.


The industrial facility sites currently for sale total 39 plots (171,964㎡), with an average sale price of 420,000 KRW per 1㎡.


Companies in a total of 27 industries can move in, including medical materials and pharmaceutical manufacturing, nuclear reactor manufacturing, architectural technology, engineering, and other scientific and technical services.


After applications are accepted from March 8 to March 11 and tenant screening is conducted, the sites will be supplied. Unsold plots will be supplied on a first-come, first-served basis through private contracts to eligible companies.
