[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 5th that President Kwon Jung-won participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge' to promote a culture of child protection.
This challenge is a relay campaign organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety since early December last year to establish a culture that prioritizes child protection and to build national consensus on preventing children's traffic accidents. Participants share traffic safety slogans for establishing a child protection culture on SNS and recommend the next participant in the relay.
President Kwon said, "I hope this challenge will help establish a mature traffic safety culture that prioritizes children's safety," adding, "We will continue to show interest and carry out various campaigns so that children can grow up healthy in a safe environment."
Recommended by Lee Yoon-bae, Chairman of the Korea Fire Insurance Association, President Kwon recommended Park Yoon-sik, CEO of MG Non-Life Insurance, as the next participant in the Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge.
Meanwhile, Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance plans to launch a children's safety campaign from the second week of March together with 'Borami TV,' a children's content specialist YouTuber with 2.33 million subscribers. They will produce entertaining videos to inform children about household safety rules and traffic safety rules that must be followed for safe living. The content will be released simultaneously on Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance's YouTube channel and Borami TV channel.
