[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone Foodmus, a food ingredient distribution company affiliated with Pulmuone, announced on the 5th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Association of City, County, and District Childcare Support Centers to cooperate on educational support projects for fostering healthy eating habits among infants and young children.


The signing ceremony held at the Mungyeong City Childcare Support Center was attended by Park Seonghu, Head of Sales at Pulmuone Foodmus, Kim Hyunik, President of the National Association of City, County, and District Childcare Support Centers, Choi Jongmi, Center Director, and Park Jeongtae, Center Director, among others.


This agreement was promoted to actively cooperate in promoting healthy growth and development of infants and young children through the exchange of human resources and information between Pulmuone Foodmus and the National Association of City, County, and District Childcare Support Centers for the formation of proper eating habits.


Through this agreement, Pulmuone Foodmus will provide LOHAS dietary education, hygiene education, and cooking class online and offline educational support to the National Association of City, County, and District Childcare Support Centers based on Pulmuone’s principles of proper food and the know-how accumulated in the field of children’s meals.


Kim Hyunik, President of the National Association of City, County, and District Childcare Support Centers, said, “Through the MOU with Foodmus, we hope to provide information for proper eating habits and safe food, and offer various content for hygiene and nutrition management that can be used at home and daycare centers in the non-face-to-face era of COVID-19, which will be helpful to growing infants and young children.”


Park Seonghu, Head of Sales at Pulmuone Foodmus, said, “This agreement has created a platform where teachers, parents, and the local community can cooperate for the healthy growth of children,” adding, “Based on Pulmuone Foodmus’s expertise in infant and young children’s meals, we plan to deliver various beneficial educational programs for children’s healthy growth in the future.”
