Seohyun Accounting Corporation Launches 'Seohyun Energy Forum'

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] PKF Seohyun Accounting Corporation has launched the Seohyun Energy Forum.

Seohyun Accounting Corporation announced on the 4th that it held the 1st Seohyun Energy Forum on the 26th of last month in the main conference room of Seohyun Accounting Corporation, inviting Professor Park Heecheon from the Department of Economics at Inha University to give a presentation and hold a discussion on the success potential of energy transition and carbon zero policies and the issues related to CO2 emission statistics.

At the forum, Seohyun Accounting Corporation CEO Bae Honggi, Lee Seongoh, Head of the Energy Consulting Division, consulting division partners, and academic professors attended. The forum shared opinions on the problems of Korea's CO2 emission statistics and held in-depth discussions focusing on the practicality of Korea's carbon zero policies and the national cost burden.

A representative of Seohyun Accounting Corporation explained, "To contribute to the development of the domestic energy industry and strengthen expertise, we formed the Seohyun Energy Forum together with professors recognized for their expertise and authority in the energy-related academia and industry."

The Seohyun Energy Forum plans to regularly hold meetings where experts in the energy field exchange knowledge and prepare development plans for the energy industry.

Seohyun Accounting Corporation established the Energy Consulting Division in January this year and recruited Lee Seongoh, who has served as head of energy at SK E&S, Gangwon City Gas, and Boseong Group (Hanyang). Since recruiting Lee, the division has been actively engaged with POSCO Group, SK E&S, Hanwha Energy, and KEPCO Power Generation Group.
