[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Rain is forecast in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions until the 5th.

The Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration announced that due to a low-pressure system passing over the sea south of Jeju Island, rain that started on the morning of the 4th along the southwestern coast of Jeonnam will expand to the entire region.

This rain is expected to fall heavily in the afternoon of the day and mostly stop by the early morning of the 5th.

Expected precipitation during this period is 5-20mm in the inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, and 10-40mm along the Jeonnam coast.

Temperatures will gradually rise, with most areas showing above 10℃ from daytime on the 4th, and around 15℃ expected on the 5th as well.

The highest daytime temperature on the 4th will be 10-12℃.

The lowest morning temperature on the 5th will be 3-8℃, and the highest daytime temperature will be 13-21℃.

A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official urged, “Visibility will be low and roads slippery where it rains, so please pay special attention to traffic safety.”
