Toss: "Use 'Nae Maejang Jangbu' and Get One Year Rent Free"


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service ‘Toss,’ announced on the 4th that it will hold the ‘Receive 1 Year Rent’ event to support the rent of stores for self-employed business owners operating offline business locations.


The ‘Receive 1 Year Rent’ event was planned to celebrate the 3-month anniversary of the launch of the ‘My Store Ledger’ service, which helps self-employed business owners manage their sales. Participants can register for the ‘My Store Ledger’ service with their own business registration number on the event page within the Toss app or recommend a friend who has a business registration number to join the event. Even general Toss users without a business registration number can enter the event by recommending a friend who has one. The more friends registered to the ‘My Store Ledger’ service through your recommendation, the more entries you get, increasing your chances of winning. Applications are accepted through the Toss app until the end of this month.


In early April, one winner will be randomly selected to receive 24 million KRW for rent support, and 12 winners will each receive 2 million KRW for rent support.


Meanwhile, the ‘My Store Ledger’ service, which helps self-employed business owners manage their sales, was first introduced at the end of November last year and surpassed 70,000 subscribers in about three months. By using ‘My Store Ledger,’ there is no need to manage store ledgers manually with Excel or handwritten notes, as sales, deposits, and expenditure details are automatically organized and daily notifications are provided. Any self-employed business owner operating an offline business registered as a card merchant can use the service for free.


A Toss representative said, “The ‘My Store Ledger’ service, which has reached its 3-month anniversary, allows users to grasp various sales information at a glance, resulting in high usage rates among customers operating business locations,” and added, “We plan to continue enhancing customer satisfaction through various events and service improvements.”
