[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 4th that it will actively target the stay-at-home crowd by offering discounts on popular living products and opening an online construction specialty store.
Until the 15th, Lotte Homeshopping will focus on popular living products, including new items from its own living brand, premium sofas, and large home appliances from well-known domestic brands, through the 'Living Festa' event, which offers reward points and gifts.
On the 5th, it will sell the second product following the 'Hybrid Mattress' from its living brand 'Olta,' the 'Organic Cotton 100 Bedding Set.' On the 9th, LG's '5-Door Magic Space' 870-liter refrigerator will be sold at a discount, with a Nescafe coffee machine offered as a gift. On the 13th, Samsung's 85-inch 'Crystal UHD TV' will be sold at a limited discount compared to the original price. On the 14th, the premium fabric sofa brand 'Essa' will offer the 'Avenue Sofa' at a discounted price.
Considering the increasing trend of home decoration and remodeling demand for aging houses, an online construction specialty store will open on the 15th. It will introduce popular domestic and international living brands, covering everything from bathroom, middle door, and built-in closet construction to self-interior products such as paint, faucets, and switches. To commemorate the opening, the bathroom remodeling brand 'Livart Bath' will be offered at a 10% discount, and the architectural material specialty brand 'Ace Hardware,' which is gaining popularity among self-interior consumers, will be sold on home shopping for the first time.
A Lotte Homeshopping official said, "With the surge in interest in interior design due to COVID-19, we have analyzed the latest trends and customer purchasing tendencies to hold a special event where popular living products can be purchased at reasonable prices and benefits." He added, "As demand for home decoration is expected to increase further, we plan to continuously introduce differentiated products reflecting customer needs."
