"Enjoy the Wonderful Jindo Scenery and Receive Jindo Specialty Products"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 3rd that it will hold the 'Jindo-gun Mobile Stamp Tour' event to revitalize local tourism, which has been stagnant due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This event is open to all citizens except residents of Jindo-gun, and 22 major tourist attractions in Jindo-gun, including Unrimsanbang and Jindo Tower, are targeted.
If participants complete mobile app certification at 18 or more major tourist sites, they will receive Jindo specialty products worth 30,000 KRW; for 15 or more sites, products worth 15,000 KRW; and for 10 or more sites, products worth 10,000 KRW.
The Jindo-gun Mobile Stamp Tour is operated using a mobile app. To participate in the stamp tour, search for "Stamp Tour" in the Play Store or App Store, install it, and then select the Jindo-gun Stamp Tour.
A tourism official from Jindo-gun said, "Most festivals and events have been canceled due to COVID-19, causing the local economy to stagnate. We will strive to promote Jindo-gun’s tourist attractions and local agricultural and marine products through this non-face-to-face event that families, friends, and couples can participate in, to revitalize the local economy."
