They will earn mileage that grants graduation certification and scholarship benefits, and gain broad and diverse experiences to build portfolios for self-directed competency enhancement and employment preparation.
Busan City plans to actively encourage and activate local university students' participation in various projects and city administration led by the city, while jointly responding with local universities to the rapid changes in the educational environment accelerated by the COVID-19 crisis.

Acting Mayor Lee Byung-jin of Busan said, “Local universities are the growth engine of our city, and we are devising various ways for the city and universities to jointly respond and cooperate with the rapid changes in the educational environment,” adding, “Busan City will take the lead in providing abundant experiences together with universities that can cultivate students’ spirit of challenge, critical thinking, and leadership.”
