[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seok-jin] Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol will resume his nationwide tour of prosecution offices, which was halted last year due to disciplinary charges and suspension from duty, by visiting the Daegu High Prosecutors' Office and Daegu District Prosecutors' Office on the 3rd.

Following his opposition to the ruling party's plan to establish the Serious Crime Investigation Office (Jungsucheong) expressed in a media interview the previous day, Prosecutor General Yoon is expected to deliver additional remarks on the day, drawing attention to the tone of his statements.

At 2 p.m. on the day, Yoon will visit the Daegu High and District Prosecutors' Offices and hold a two-hour meeting with the staff.

Yoon's visit to Daegu is part of his nationwide tour of prosecution offices that began in February last year. His local prosecution office visits were suspended after his visit to Daejeon High and District Prosecutors' Offices in October last year due to former Minister Chu's disciplinary charges.

Additional comments related to Jungsucheong are expected during Yoon's responses to reporters' questions upon entering the Daegu High Prosecutors' Office building or during the meeting.

In particular, attention is focused on how Yoon will respond, following the indirect warning message sent from the Blue House the previous day, urging to "calmly express opinions according to procedures."

Meanwhile, at the request of the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office is collecting opinions from prosecution offices nationwide regarding the establishment of Jungsucheong.

Based on the opinions gathered by the day, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office is considering issuing an additional statement.
