2021 K-Move School Selected for the Most 6 Programs Among Nationwide 4-Year Universities
April Briefing, Education Starting in June ... Targeting the US, Japan, and Vietnam with 100 Annual Job Placements
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) has been selected as the largest operating institution of the ‘K-Move School’ overseas employment training project among four-year universities in Korea this year.
Dongseo University announced on the 2nd that it was selected as one of the six operating institutions for the ‘2021 Overseas Employment Training Project K-Move School’ organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. This is the largest overseas employment training project among four-year universities nationwide.
The K-Move School project, targeting fourth-year students, is a training program that supports the successful overseas employment of young people with passion and potential.
It is a customized overseas employment program entrusted by the government to conduct education and operational courses.
This year’s selected courses include three excellent courses such as U.S. Fashion Specialist, Graphic Designer, and IT Engineer, as well as three general courses including U.S. Trade Logistics Frontier, Japanese IT Engineer, and Vietnamese Management Support Specialist Training, totaling six courses with 95 participants.
The University Job Center (Student Employment Support Office) will hold briefing sessions from April to recruit students to participate in the K-Move School.
Students selected for the K-Move School will receive many benefits, including full domestic and overseas tuition fees, textbook fees, exam fees, and partial visa processing fees.
From June this year to February next year, students will receive job-related, language, essential, and general education both domestically and abroad, and then be employed by local companies in the U.S., Japan, and Vietnam.
Dongseo University received the Prime Minister’s Award in the youth overseas advancement field in 2016 and earned an A grade for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019 in the overseas employment operating institution evaluation conducted by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
As a leading university in the overseas employment field, Dongseo University has established an overseas employment roadmap to encourage overseas employment from the lower grades and provides systematic education, achieving over 100 overseas employments annually.
