NongHyup Bank Holds Flower Sharing Event to Promote Flower Consumption at Government Seoul Office


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 2nd that it held a flower-sharing event at the Government Seoul Office to support flower farmers facing economic difficulties due to the cancellation of various events such as graduation ceremonies amid the COVID-19 pandemic.


At the event, Kang Shin-no, Head of Planning and Coordination Department at Nonghyup Financial Group, Kim Seong-hoon, Head of Institutional Business Division at Nonghyup Bank, and Jeong Hae-ung, Branch Manager of the Government Seoul Office Branch, handed out roses and freesias to government officials and visitors working at the Government Seoul Office, urging them to take a keen interest in promoting a culture of flower consumption.


Kim Seong-hoon, Head of Institutional Business Division, said, "We prepared this event with the hope of helping flower farmers who are experiencing economic difficulties due to COVID-19," adding, "We hope this will aid flower farmers who have been affected by the pandemic."


Meanwhile, flower-sharing events to support flower farmers were also held on the 16th and 17th of last month at Nonghyup Bank’s Cheongwadae Branch, National Assembly Branch, Government Sejong Office Financial Center, Board of Audit and Inspection Branch, Government Daejeon Office Branch, Government Gwacheon Office Branch, and Seoul National University Branch.
