[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Konic Glory announced on the 2nd that the mobile game "Goddess War," which set a record of over 210,000 pre-registrations in Japan, ranked 4th in the popular games chart on Japan's Google Play after its official launch last month.
A Konic Glory official stated, "The success of Goddess War in Korea and Japan is exceeding expectations, and if this trend continues, the annual sales of Goddess War are expected to reach approximately 45 billion KRW from just these two countries. To sustain this growth, we plan to actively enter the global game market by launching additional new games within this year."
Previously, Konic Glory signed a contract with the global publishing company 37IE for the launch in the Japanese market. Except for the Japanese national game 'Umamusume PRETTY DERBY,' which currently holds the number one spot in the Japanese app market, the games ranked 2nd to 4th are all published by 37IE. The company expects that 37IE's publishing competitiveness will further boost the success of Goddess War.
Goddess War is a game serviced by Neojoy, a subsidiary of Konic Glory. When it officially launched domestically in January, it ranked in the top 5 popular games on both Google and Apple markets. As of the 2nd, it maintains user ratings of 4.3 on Google Play and 4.7 on the Apple App Store, receiving favorable reviews. In the Japanese market, pre-registration was conducted for a month starting in January, and the official launch in Japan took place on February 24.
Goddess War is an idle character development game that supports easy automatic hunting and growth while collecting various characters. Users can enjoy attack skills that highlight each character's traits with stunning graphics, as well as diverse content such as strategic battles through free deck arrangement.
