[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Independent lawmaker Hong Jun-pyo is posting a series of harsh criticisms.

On the 28th, Hong criticized Governor Lee through his Facebook. He said, "Although it was overshadowed by disguised peace false agitation during the last local election, the double curse to my sister-in-law and the free romance with an actress were thug-like behaviors," adding, "Such actions will not be forgiven even after 10 or 20 years."

He continued, "Just as mocking by calling someone the 'Deobureo-teojin Party' is not respectful to the other party, mocking using someone else's party name is a vile act that shows no basic courtesy," warning, "Stop and reflect on yourself."

The day before, Hong also posted criticism of Governor Lee. He said, "So far, attracting attention with thug-like behavior, and in my view, pretending to be a basic income prophet after reading a book that doesn't seem like a book," and criticized, "Is governing well by mocking other party names at every chance and distributing money, which is not even your own but taxpayers', to the residents?"

He also said, "If you want to be a leader, behave seriously," and added, "Still, it is only because President Moon's side judged you to be useful that you were saved."

Earlier on the 26th, he criticized the opposition leadership. Hong said, "When it becomes the last year of a ruling party, any regime turns into an opposition party scene, but it is still the Moon Jae-in era," and said, "In the two major by-elections for sexual harassment, where we should have been overwhelmingly dominant, our candidates were disparaged, and the opposition failed to play its role properly, only sulking, which instead created a stage for those who committed mistakes to run amok." He then criticized, "How much more must the opposition be beaten before it comes to its senses?"
