2020 Domestic LPG Annual Sales No.1 LPe
Following Class-Leading Quietness GDe, Launch of Powerful and 4WD Equipped dCi
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 28th that it will launch the NEW QM6 dCi model, equipped with powerful performance and 4WD stability, on the 1st of next month to coincide with the outdoor season.
Renault Samsung emphasized that the NEW QM6 dCi offers best-in-class quietness, optimal fuel efficiency, and powerful driving performance. To satisfy various consumer lifestyles, it also offers a full powertrain lineup from gasoline to LPG and diesel.
The NEW QM6 dCi delivers 184 horsepower and a maximum torque of 38.7 kg.m in the 1750rpm to 3500rpm range. Not only is maximum torque available from a low rpm of 1750, but the rpm range where torque is delivered is wide, allowing for consistently excellent responsiveness and acceleration performance.
The maximum torque rpm range is 750rpm wider compared to competing models, which means it performs exceptionally well in urban environments with frequent mid-to-low speed driving.
The NEW QM6 dCi enables safer driving in any road conditions such as rainy or snowy roads through its 4WD system. The 4WD applies the long-verified Nissan technology ALL MODE 4X4-i, which appropriately distributes torque to all wheels according to the driver’s driving intention and vehicle turning conditions, maintaining optimal traction in all driving conditions including snow, rain, and rough terrain, thus enabling more stable operation.
Since the NEW QM6 dCi is an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) model focused on the powerful and agile driving performance unique to diesel engines, it has undergone changes through a strategy of selection and concentration.
The previous two diesel engine lineups, 1.7 dCi 2WD and 2.0 dCi 4WD, have been consolidated into a single 2.0 dCi 4WD. The trims have also been reduced from the previous three types?RE, RE Signature, and PREMIERE?to two main trims: the main RE trim and the premium PREMIERE trim, to further highlight the advantages of the dCi.
The NEW QM6 dCi being launched this time meets the strengthened diesel emission standards Euro6D, which have been enforced since January 1st. To comply with the stringent diesel emission regulations requiring nitrogen oxide emissions to be reduced from the previous 168mg/km to 114mg/km based on real driving conditions, the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system has been enhanced.
The price of the NEW QM6 dCi, including VAT (based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax), is 34.66 million KRW for the RE trim. Compared to the 2020 model, ▲ LED PURE VISION headlamps ▲ one-touch safety power window for the front passenger ▲ hill descent control (HDC) have been added as standard features. The PREMIERE trim is priced at 40.55 million KRW and includes, in addition to the features added to the RE trim, ▲ full LED rear combination lamps ▲ dynamic turn signals.
