[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] On the 26th, the Military Mutual Aid Association C&C jointly appointed the rookie five-member girl group Makamaka as 'Nara Sarang (Love for the Country) Public Ambassadors' together with Kyobo Bookstore.
The appointment ceremony was held at the Military Mutual Aid Association C&C headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attended by Lee Kwangsoo, president of Military Mutual Aid Association C&C, Lee Wooil, manager of Kyobo Bookstore Co., Ltd., the rookie girl group Makamaka, and officials from their agency Blue Moon Entertainment.
The Military Mutual Aid Association C&C provides the 'Nara Sarang Portal App' (hereinafter Youth DREAM), a total service platform for soldiers' life cycle, aimed at welfare benefits for military personnel.
It offers defense policy projects such as self-development support for active-duty soldiers, military e-learning, and university remote lectures, as well as military administration mobile services including mobile leave certificates, mobile TMO, and mobile personality tests.
Kyobo Bookstore, co-appointing the ambassadors, participates in the 'soldier self-development support project' that encourages soldiers' reading activities and improves the quality of military life through Youth DREAM.
Appointed as 'Nara Sarang Public Ambassadors,' Makamaka will actively participate in and promote welfare matters for soldiers, including military welfare systems through Youth DREAM, in a friendly and flexible manner for the next year, as well as fostering soldiers' reading habits and expanding self-development.
Meanwhile, Makamaka is a rookie girl group under CNK Blue Moon Entertainment consisting of Heesu, Eunbi, Chaewon, Daseul, and Dia. They debuted last August with the song "Burning Power," which features refreshing vocals, exciting melodies, and bright energy.
Although Makamaka is currently busy preparing their follow-up song, they joined the 'Nara Sarang Public Ambassador' activities to support the Republic of Korea Armed Forces soldiers who dedicate themselves to the nation.
Eunbi (real name Shin Eunbi, 21), a member of Makamaka, said, "You’re my best friend! I am grateful to be appointed as a Nara Sarang Public Ambassador, and I will take the lead in promoting soldier welfare through active activities."
