Gwangju's First COVID-19 Vaccination Site Visited by Kim Sam-ho, Gwangsan District Mayor: "The Dawn of Counterattack Has Begun"

Mayor Kim stated, “During the one year of the COVID-19 crisis, the only measures were strictly following personal quarantine rules and limiting activities to block the spread of the virus,” adding, “With the start of vaccinations, the counterattack has begun, and Gwangsan District will establish a foundation for 280,000 residents to be safely vaccinated and return to daily life.”

The COVID-19 vaccination, which began on this day, will be conducted until June targeting workers in elderly medical and welfare facilities, medical institutions, and those aged 65 and older, and from July, it will be extended to the general public.
