[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] FILA, celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, is unveiling 11 iconic shoes with symbolic meanings from its history.
The global sports brand FILA announced on the 26th that it will launch the "Heritage Shoes Series" this month to commemorate the brand's 110th anniversary. FILA plans to release 11 shoes, selecting one model each month in limited quantities.

Following this, models such as the "Original Fitness 1988," "Funky Tennis 1998," "Spaghetti 1995," and "Disruptor2 1998" will be unveiled. As special edition shoes commemorating the 110th anniversary, the release quantity for each model is limited to 110 pairs.
The "Original Tennis 1985 Tier Zero," introduced this month, is FILA's first tennis shoe, originally launched in 1985. Inspired by the tennis category that symbolizes FILA, it is also regarded as a representative model symbolizing FILA's tennis history.
The new version of the Original Tennis 1985, released to celebrate the 110th anniversary, features a combination of unique colors (white, red, navy) reflecting the 110th anniversary logo and brand identity on the side of the shoe. This product will be available in a limited quantity of 110 pairs from 11 a.m. on the 26th at the official FILA online store, priced at 169,000 KRW.
A FILA representative stated, "We wanted to commemorate the brand's 110th anniversary through 11 representative shoes symbolizing FILA," adding, "We hope that the heritage shoes, which tell stories based on archives, will provide an opportunity to share contemporary experiences and meanings that are different yet relatable to everyone."
