According to foreign media on the 24th (local time), after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan dismissed the Chief of the Joint Staff, the military leadership issued a statement demanding Pashinyan's resignation in protest.
As the military held the Prime Minister responsible for the defeat and demanded his resignation, Pashinyan notified the dismissal of Onik Gasparyan, the Chief of the Joint Staff. Pashinyan urged the military to comply with his orders and also called for protests by his supporters.
