Donga Broadcasting Arts University (President Choi Yong-hyuk) has signed an industry-academia cooperation family company agreement with MBC C&I Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Heung-sik) to foster outstanding technical talent.
This agreement was made as part of the family company agreement system that Donga Broadcasting Arts University, selected as a Leading University for Customized Industry-Academia Cooperation (LINC+), has been implementing for two years to enhance students' practical skills.
The signing ceremony held at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do was attended by President Choi Yong-hyuk and CEO Lim Heung-sik, among others.
Both organizations agreed to actively cooperate in cultivating highly skilled technical professionals with field experience such as technology and practical work experience, in relation to the Ministry of Education's innovation plan for junior colleges, the introduction of Meister Universities, and to develop advanced curricula to improve the technical and job skills required in the field.
President Choi said, "MBC C&I, which possesses the nation's top-level content production know-how and broadcasting technology personnel, shares our university's vision emphasizing practical education-oriented teaching methods needed in the field, so we expect to prepare various cooperation plans that can maximize synergy effects."
CEO Lim stated, "We will strive to develop content that aligns with the current era where the convergence of academia and industry is emerging as a new issue and can promote practical mutual development."
