Honam University LINC+ Project Group, Agreement to Establish University Technology Startup Network

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University LINC+ Project Group recently announced on the 25th that it has signed an agreement with the Korea Entrepreneurship Education Council, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and 19 participating universities to establish a university technology startup network aimed at nurturing technology startup talents to lead an innovative startup ecosystem.

Through this agreement, the parties agreed to mutually cooperate on ▲joint hosting and participation in events for the university technology startup network ▲operation of educational programs for nurturing technology startup talents ▲operation of mentoring and consulting programs to revitalize technology startups ▲and other projects necessary for the activation of technology startups.

During the subsequent workshop, discussions were held on plans to nurture technology startup talents to lead the innovative startup ecosystem centered on the newly launched university technology startup network, as well as measures to revitalize university technology startups.

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation and the Korea Entrepreneurship Education Council plan to form a team of professional instructors to research educational curricula, including developing educational content and preparing teaching materials, and to regularize educational support such as lectures and mentoring by technology startup practitioners at participating universities.
